The Baranov Duet is dark. *DARK*

The first paragraph borders on suicidal ideations. The second paragraph is explicit drug use by a main character who is about to commit non-consensual acts on the other main character. There are extenuating circumstances, but it's still very much non-consensual.

Also, this is for-real drug use. To quote Chapter 2, "He even gives me his thermos of biker coffee. Yeah, that’s coffee with cream and sugar and meth. Yeah, I drink the meth."

Through the course of the series, there will be continued drug use, non-con, dub-con, and con non-con, kidnapping and imprisonment, human trafficking, murder, gun manufacturing, general illegal activity, amnesia, suicidal ideation, birth control tampering, secret pregnancy, exhibition, distribution of sex tapes, and deaths of major characters.

Vasily the Nail is the first book in a duet and, as such, does not include a happy ending or resolution (which will both occur in the sequel. It's dark, but it's still romance, y'all).
